Background
Ben is the immunology guru for Purina Animal Nutrition and provides technical expertise for the Equine MQ™ Platform as it relates to interactions between the microbiome and the immune system. He is excited about the new discoveries that are taking place, like the observation that individual bacteria from the microbiome can have an impact on a horse’s immune system. Ben holds a Ph.D. from Kansas State University, where he also managed a research lab.
